Pakistan Super League Season 4
PSL usually called Pakistan Super League is a professional
T20 League of Pakistan which was a good initiative by Pakistan Cricket Board to
increase its revenue. Pakistan Super League was started in September 2015 with
only 5 teams on that time.
These Teams were:
Pakistan Super League was Chaired by an old Chairman PCB Najam Sethi , He struggled hard to make this event successful and now this league
is being counted as best Upcoming League of the world. Analysts claims that PSL
will be soon at the top of all Leagues.
Last Year in 2018 , PSL season 3 was started on 22 Feb and
ended on 25th March 2018. PSL3 final was played at National Stadium,Karachi
and was won by Islamabad United. Islamabad United won PSL winning title two
time out of 3 seasons. First season was also won by Islamabad United and second
title was won by Peshawar Zalmi .
Defending champions of HBL PSL season 1 and season 3
PSL is played in double robin format, each team playing 10
matches in double robin format in which Top 4 Teams Qualify for Playoffs .
PSL4 :
HBL PSL season 4 is starting from 14th Feb to 17th
March 2019, in which total 34 matches will be played in it. On 14th
November 2018 , PCB declared that they have renewed their partnership for 3
more years till 2021 . PCB terminated their agreements with the owner of MultanSultan due to some of reasons.
Now Jahangir Tareen’s son Mr. Ali Tareen have purchased
ownership of Multan Sultan and there is no doubt that Multan Sultan will be
participating this year in PSL4 . PCB reserved price for Multan Sultan was $5.21
billion which was exceeded by Mr. Ali for a period of 7 years .
Everyone in Pakistan is hoping that this PSL4 will be more better than previous 3 seasons. almost 8 matches are gonna played in Pakistan and rest will be played in UAE .
